This week the PCYC Charters Towers Team Up program concluded with the Richmond Hill Year 6 kids.
Team Up is an eight week leadership & teamwork youth development program that includes teambuilding activities and topics such as connection, emotional regulation, communication, trust and leadership.
Some really good work and behaviour was displayed by the group as they stepped out of their comfort zones.
Keep up the good work at school, home and out in the community guys!

Congratulations Jannali!
This week Jannali became the latest person to get their drivers license through the PCYC Charters Towers Braking The Cycle (BTC) driving program.
Its such a special moment in life to get your drivers license and I'm told that Jannali did very well in her test.
Great work Jannali and stay safe on the road.

It was a great day yesterday at the Charters Towers Jobs Expo with a couple of hundred youths from our various high schools coming to Gold Towers to explore future career options.
With stalls from QPS, QAS, ADF, PCYC, Qld Health, heavy industry, local government, building, community organizations and many more there was plenty for everyone.
These young people are tomorrows leaders so it was great to see how interested they are in begining their own journeys.

PCYC Charters Towers is grateful to have such a dedicated group of Driver Mentors who are the backbone of our BTC (Braking The Cycle) driving program.
Our mentor group is made up of locals and emergency services personell who take the time to teach the next generation of young drivers and help them get their drivers licenes.
To show our gratitude several of our mentors were recently given service certificates and a box of chocolates.
