Biggest Morning Tea Success!

A wonderful morning was enjoyed by all at our Biggest Morning Tea, raising much-needed funds for the Cancer Council.

A special thank you to President Vicki and soon-to-be Rotarian Jo for their delicious home baking, which was enjoyed by everyone. Thank you also to Ron for providing wonderful entertainment, helping to create such a warm and enjoyable atmosphere.

Most importantly, thank you to all our members, volunteers, friends and guests who joined us and generously supported this worthy cause. Your time, donations and enthusiasm helped make the event a great success.

Together, we are making a difference in the fight against cancer. 💛

What a wonderful evening tonight as we were joined by the six students from Cessnock High School who recently attended Rotary Youth Program of Enrichment (RYPEN).

Their enthusiasm as they shared stories from their weekend away was truly inspiring, the confidence, friendships and personal growth they spoke about says it all. Best of all, every one of them said they would love to return again in the future.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who supported and attended our Elegant White Picnic. Your generosity raised much-needed funds that made it possible for these students to attend the camp and enjoy such a valuable experience. This is Rotary at its very best

After Scone Time this morning, we were straight back into action, firing up the BBQ to cook sausages for 300 plus students at Cessnock West Public School .

It was wonderful to help the school raise funds for their excursions this year. The children were an absolute credit to themselves and their school, so polite, patient, and happy to wait their turn in line.

Busy, rewarding, and full of smiles, exactly what community is all about .

On Wednesday we were proud to unveil the second Peace Pole in our LGA, this time at Cessnock West Public School, led by President Vicki from The Rotary Club of Cessnock

We arrived ready to speak about the origin and meaning of the Peace Pole, but the students had it well covered. Their confident, thoughtful speeches showed just how deeply they understand its message of peace and unity.

It was also a pleasure to have Daniel Watton - Mayor of Cessnock in attendance, proudly supporting this special moment for the school and our community.

A heartfelt thank you to Principal Ruth Goodwin and the wonderful students for such a warm welcome and inspiring presentations.

If your school would like to install a Peace Pole, please contact [email protected].
