🚨 Notice of Annual General Meeting (AGM) 🚨

The Wine Country Cricket Club Annual General Meeting will be held on:

📅 Sunday 12th July 2026

📍 Australia Hotel

All committee positions will be declared vacant, with elections to follow for the 2026–27 season.

Interested in getting involved? Nominations are now open for the following roles and must be emailed to [email protected] no later than the 9th July 2026.

🏆 We recently held our 2025/26 Presentation Night at East Cessnock Bowling Club. 🏆

With over 110 people in attendance, it was a great evening to celebrate all the success of our great club. From our two premiership winning sides, all of the personal milestones, team and individual award winners... Congratulations once again!

Thank you to everyone who attended and made it a fun night, a big thank you to Kirsty O'Neill who organised and set everything up for the night, thank you to Taylor O'Hara Photography for the great photos and it was also great to see quite a few of the Wenworth Hotel "Old Boys" on the night.

A perfect way to cap off a great season for our Wood Ducks family! 🏏🦆

Please help us keep the doors open while we navigate this this road problem …

While construction of the new road is underway right out the front of our store, we’ve temporarily lost our street parking. The good news? You can still easily access our car park directly in front of the store, as well as additional parking just around the corner in the side street.
We’re also working on launching an online ordering app for our coffee bar to help get you in and out even faster ☕️
At the rate morning traffic moves, we might even be able to walk your order out to you while you’re in line 🤪

A massive congratulations must go out to the one and only Brendon Briedenhann on his selection in the NSW O/50’s side. Well done Brendo! 🏏👏🏼

The Cricket NSW Masters 50s/55s Board and selection committee thoroughly congratulate these outstanding players on being selected for Over 50s NSW team to play in a 4 way tournament with Victoria O50s, Mackay Masters and Townsville Masters in Mackay on the 23, 24 & 26 July 2026. Led by Captain Dave Newham, the side selected are of a Div 2 or Div 3 capacity for Nationals, giving these fringe players a chance to show their wares for future higher representation for NSW.

Let your captain/manager know about the accommodation requirements asap.

Congratulations on your selection, we know you will all represent with pride !!!

We hope everyone enjoyed themselves last night at our Presentation night. 🏆🏏

With a little over 110 people in attendance, it was so good to see everyone come together and celebrate everything that Wine Country Cricket Club is built on and last night proved that.

Thank you to everyone that came and celebrated with us. From our players, their partners and their families, our “Wenty Old Boys” and of course we thank again our amazing sponsors.

A perfect finish to a great season! 🦆🏏🏆

🏏🏆 Only 1 more sleep until we get to celebrate all of our club and individual outstanding performances for our 2025/26 season!

We can’t wait to see and catch up with everyone tomorrow night, it’s going to be a great evening!

🚨Presentation will commence at 6pm sharp in the downstairs auditorium at the ECBC. Dinner will be served from approximately 6:30pm.
