Cessnock Family Support Service Inc Cessnock Family Support Service is a non gov. org. offering services to parents/carers living in the Cessnock LGA. CFSS provides Early Intervention Services.

We have Family Workers to support families with parenting and concerns that impact upon parenting Services offered include Generalist counselling, short term case management, parenting programs, advice and information, referrals to other services. Centre based and Home Visits are available as well as parenting programs. The Early Start Nurse provides health checks and information including Lactation support for children aged 0-5. Cessnock Family Support Service Inc is the sponsor organisation for the Cessnock Domestic and Family Violence Network.

The Lower Hunter’s multicultural communities will be holding a candlelight vigil in memory of those who lost their lives in the devastating floods in Nepal this Friday night.

This will be a time for our community to come together, remember those who have lost their lives, and show support and solidarity with their families, friends and loved ones.
