Just to clarify: If you have a Samsung phone, the odds are that you are using the Samsung Phone app. Phone by Google is a different app that you can download from the Play Store if you don't already have it. It is rated highly for preventing scam calls.

Here's a useful tip for Android users who have the latest version of the Google Drive app on your phone. You can use it to scan multi-page documents and save them to Google Drive.

Open the Google Drive app, then either tap the camera icon or tap the Plus button followed by Scan. Position your document in front of your phone's camera and tap the button. You can ask Google Drive to enhance the image, and you can tap 'next' to scan multiple pages.

(Come to our next Android Community Group on 6th August for a demonstration.)

We've introduced a new community group on Windows 11, where members can pay $5 for two hours and ask questions. Participant feedback was very positive. Judith said "The session covered so many topics, was very informative and helpful". Bev said "I came without a question and went home with a lot of useful information, followed up by the printout". Paul said "it was really good to not only be able to ask my questions but to hear what questions other people had. I learnt so much."

We ran our first class with our new SmartTV (thank you to The Hills Shire Council for the grant, and to our Maintenance Team for the installation) and members were impressed with the clarity of the screen compared with our very old projector.

I found this article about how we are manipulated to make bad choices when we go online very interesting. I think it would make a good course topic, or maybe a talk. What do you think?
