It was a cold, rainy day in Canberra…28 July 1984.

A day like any other for most — but a day that changed everything for our family.

Megan Louise Mulquiney commenced work at 8:30am at Big W, Woden Shopping Centre. She finished her shift and was seen leaving at 12:05pm.

Just minutes later, at around 12:15pm, Megan was last seen leaving the Plaza. The shops were closing, and it would have been a busy time…

But she never made it home.

Someone was there that day. Someone walked past. Someone may remember something — no matter how small.

Did you shop at Woden Plaza that day? Did you catch a bus around that time?Do you remember seeing Megan… or anything unusual? Did you see Megan walking towards the bus interchange.

It was cold. It was rainy. It was busy. Maybe something stood out.

Megan has been missing for over four decades now, but we will never stop searching. Her family still waits. Still hopes. Still needs answers.

If you remember anything at all — please speak up. It’s never too late.

Somebody knows something. 💔
