💙 International Men's Day, Thursday 19 November 💙

Join us as we celebrate our wonderful clients, volunteers and board members.

It's an opportunity to recognise, appreciate and celebrate the men who make a difference in our lives and our community - our fathers, husbands, brothers, sons, grandfathers, friends and neighbours.

Come along for a wonderful opportunity to connect, share a few laughs, enjoy some yummy pizza and celebrate the important role men play in our organisation.

🎉Camden Meals on Wheels are very proud to announce that we have successfully undergone a comprehensive menu review conducted by an Accredited Practising Dietician. The review was completed in accordance with the Aged Care Quality and Safety Commission and Aged Care Quality Standards and the National Meal Guidelines for Older Australians. Camden Meals on Wheels has demonstrated STRONG ALIGNMENT with best practice aged care guidelines. 🎉

A very big thank you to Camden Meals on Wheels team members who worked on this project with the dieticians.

Kicking off a brand new week with our walking group this morning.

Up early and making the most of this glorious morning! What better way to start the day than with some fresh air, gentle movement and great company.

Our Walk & Talk crew were out enjoying the sunshine, sharing a few laughs and getting some steps in.

There's something pretty special about starting your morning surrounded by good people and a beautiful community.

We will be meeting at 8:45am every Monday at the bottom of Chellaston Street Camden. Next Walk and Talk group will be Monday the 19th October.

This is a friendly reminder that our walking group is cancelled for Monday 5th October as our office is closed.

From Monday 12th October we will meet at the bottom of Chellaston Street and will walk the Camden Bike Track meeting at 8:45am.

A friendly reminder that we are closed on Monday the 5th of October for the Public Holiday and will reopen again on Tuesday the 6th of October at 8:30am.

We hope you enjoy the long weekend - whether that means a sleep-in, a cuppa, time with family and friends, getting out and about, or simply enjoying a quiet day at home.

The team will be back bright and early on Tuesday morning at 8:30am.

Today we celebrate the incredible older people who are such an important part of our communities, our families and our story here at Camden Meals on Wheels.

Every older person carries a lifetime of memories, lessons, laughter, challenges, achievements and stories that deserve to be heard and treasured.

At Camden Meals on Wheels, we believe growing older should never mean feeling forgotten, unseen or alone.

Sometimes, it's a hot meal delivered directly to your front door.
Sometimes, it's a friendly smile, a conversation, a helping hand or simply knowing that someone is there. These small moments can make a very big difference.

Thinking of Volunteering?

Camden Meals on Wheels will be attending the Volunteer Expo this Saturday at Camden Civic Centre. The expo starts at 10am!

We will be at Stall 17, come along and say hello to our team and find out about the services we provide to our local community.

Volunteering with us is about so much more than delivering a meal. It's about our clients seeing a friendly face, having a conversation, lending a helping hand and making sure they feel connected and supported.

Whether you have a few hours to spare, want to meet new people or are simply curious about how you can make a difference, come and have a chat with our friendly team.
