💄 This week our participants visited Katrina's Hair and Beauty School for something a little different — an interview makeup tutorial!
They were taught by students at Katrina's who were being assessed on the day, so it was a brilliant community moment — our participants learning how to put their best face forward for job interviews, while Katrina's students got to practise their skills in a real setting.
Meanwhile, back at the café, the participants who stayed behind spent the day making pizzas. 🍕
Two very different days — one shared goal: getting ready for the world of work. 💪
This is just one of the many wrap-around supports included in the Better Outcomes Program. It's so much more than a qualification.
Our next intake starts Monday 13 July in Caboolture — Mon–Fri, 9:00am–2:30pm, and it's at no cost to eligible participants.

From crop to cup! ☕ Our Better Outcomes participants visited Neli Coffee in Clontarf today to learn the full story behind the coffee they serve — how it’s grown, harvested, processed, shipped to Australia, and then roasted right here. That industrial roaster is something else! So proud of this crew.

🎓 We are SO proud of our Better Outcomes graduates!

On Friday, these incredible individuals crossed the stage and showed the world what they're made of. Watching each of them receive their certificate was a moment we'll never forget.

To our graduates — you came in with potential, and you leave with proof. The hard work, the commitment, and the courage it took to get here has set the foundation for everything that comes next.

As you step forward into your futures, know that we are cheering for you every single step of the way. The best is truly yet to come. 💙

Yesterday I had the pleasure of attending the Women into Work expo here in the Moreton Bay region — and what an incredible event it was! 👩‍💼

I had the chance to speak to so many amazing women who are ready to take that next step into the workforce. A few of them have already signed up to our April intake — and I couldn’t be more excited for them! 🎉

But we still have places available — and if you’re a woman looking for a fresh start, a career change, or just need someone genuinely in your corner, I’d love to hear from you.

Iyesha originally joined the Better Outcomes Program to support her sister. But somewhere along the way something clicked — and she threw herself into the program wholeheartedly.

Today she’s completely changed her career path, works for a cleaning company and is absolutely thriving financially.
Sometimes you come for someone else and end up finding something for yourself.
