🎄🎅 This year the Burra Christmas Fair Committee were lucky enough to have a fellow community pageant group contact us, offering to loan us their Christmas props, to create our own float! We were ecstatic at the idea and extremely grateful for the opportunity. Massive thanks to the Eudunda Christmas Party 👏🏼🙏🫶 It was so exciting putting our trailer together, a true team effort and certainly helped to bring the Christmas spirit to its fullest! We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to Daryl Frith, for assisting with collecting, transporting, and returning the loaned items to Eudunda, along with the loan of his trailer for the transporting and the float construction it's self 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Thank you also to The Burra Show for allowing us to use their shed to store the props; to Trent (and Fiona) for the loan their car; Steve the truckie who was camping at the show grounds and helped secure the props on our float; to Sandy for driving; Adam for supporting the float crew; and the wonderful children (and their friends) of our Committee members for helping with the float, dressing up, and handing out ice blocks. Lastly, thank you to our committee for all their efforts with pulling together all we needed to make our float a reality! From printing signs, donating iceblocks, to buying and creating decorations, then doing the actual float construction and decorating! 👏🏼🎉 Well done team!
