A busy little Sunday arvo session for the 🎄Burra Christmas Fair Committee. We had a little busy-bee tidying our store room at the Uniting Church Hall, aswell as doing a little stock take on our decorations and so on. Words can not express how truly grateful we are to have this space to call our own 🙏🏼👏🏼💝 Don't you just want to kick yourself when you get stuck in, and then remember you didn't get the before photo 🤣 Well, it might just look like a room with boxes and things, but to us... this space is clean, sorted and now very orderly 😉👏🏼

200 DAYS TO GO until the Burra Christmas Fair & Pageant! We are so excited to already be planning and booking entertainment for this year's event. SAVE THE DATE 🎅 Friday 18th of December 2026 🎄 If you would like to be involved by joining our committee, volunteering on the night, or sponsoring the event, please don’t hesitate to get in touch 🙏🏼💖

Last week we had our AGM 📜 Thank you to those who attended 👏🏼 We wish to take this opportunity to give a big shout out to Leonie Taylor for her amazing dedication and tireless effort ensuring the Pageant component of the Burra Christmas fair was always fantastic, for young and old. We are so grateful for Leonie's passion and commitment to making the Burra Pageant bigger and better, each and every year. 👏🏼 Leonie had been on the committee as the Pageant Float Co-ordinator for 6 years or so. She also has been a proud supporter of the Burra Christmas Fair & Pageant for more than 10 years, having been involved with the Burra Pony Club float. We wish you all the best and will miss you greatly 🥲, but look forward to seeing you back on the floats 🐎🛻🍻💐

Last week we had our AGM 📜 Thank you to those who attended 👏🏼 We wish to take this opportunity to give our biggest thanks to Natasha Frith who was our wonderful President for 2025. Don’t forget we will be holding our AGM this coming Wednesday evening at the Burra Uniting Church.

All positions will be declared open, and we would love to have some new members join our amazing committee.
