Sporting Associations and Clubs across WA wouldn’t run without volunteers, and we are no exception.

Please join the Bullsbrook Basketball Association, and as part of the 2026 National Volunteer Week celebrations, we’d like to acknowledge and sincerely thank ALL our amazing volunteers for the work they do during the season, and also in the off-season.
Whether it’s feeding the hungry from the canteen, keeping score on the courts, coaching the players to get the ball in the basket, or attending meetings in the boardroom, everything is equally as valuable to ensuring our Association can function.

Election of all Office bearers and portfolios, including:
- Vice President
- Secretary
- Treasurer
- Registrar
- Canteen Manager
- Committee Members x6
(President excluded, 2-year term expires 2027)

Portfolio’s required include:
- Aussie Hoops Coordinator
- Publicity Officer
- Umpire Coordinator

🟢⚫️ Grand Final Wrap ⚫️🟢

We’re still buzzing from our Grand Final games on Friday night at the Bullsbrook College gym! 🏀

The Subs kicked things off with a nail-biting game, the Mids put on a great contest, and the Juniors…wow! Double overtime and a one-point finish - it doesn’t get much better than that!

Congratulations to all of our MVPs on an outstanding effort 👏 Word has it there were some tough discussions between the refs and score bench to choose the winners.

A huge thank you to everyone who helped make the night so special. Shout outs to Matt and Sascha for doing a fantastic job running things; our awesome refs Harper, Quinn, Monet and Riley; scorers Bindi and Corri; and our canteen legends Paul, Michelle, Katy, Tiarna and Rachel.

A big thank you as well to Bullsbrook College for allowing us to use their gym at the last minute due to the weather. We really appreciate your support!

What an incredible night of basketball, effort, and sportsmanship from all teams. So proud of everyone involved!

Our Junior Grand Final went into DOUBLE overtime last night, with an amazing come-from-behind win for Thunder, beating Storm by 1 point in the dying seconds.

As you can hear, the atmosphere in the Bullsbrook College Sports Hall was ELECTRIC!! 🤩

Both teams played their hearts out, with passion, skill, and an awesome display of respect and fairness that even had the referees applauding.

Just a reminder tonight’s Grand Finals and Presentation Wind Up will go ahead tonight as scheduled but the location is now BULLSBROOK COLLEGE! Please see previous post for a map if needed.

Good Morning all,

With the weather deciding to change our plans, we’ve arranged to relocate tonight’s Presentation/Windup and Grand Finals to the Bullsbrook College Sports Hall.

Same times as before, all games and presentations will be on the main court. Canteen will operate as normal.

Please see attached a map of the school, with parking information and toilet location. We only have access to the sports hall area, and there is to be no smoking or alcohol anywhere on school property - this includes the carpark.

The school have been awesome in accommodating this last minute request from our Association, and we thank them wholeheartedly for helping us out.

We look forward to seeing you tonight, with no doubt an electric atmosphere inside the hall and on the court! 🏀

Check out the graphics below for the run times and fixtures for this week’s basketball Grand Finals!

Our committee is keeping a very close eye on the forecast and is working on a contingency plan just in case. That said… we’re staying optimistic🤞.We’re all hoping Narelle is a basketball fan and holds off on the rain long enough for our grand finals to go ahead as planned!

Stay tuned for any updates - but for now, bring on the big games! Good luck to all our teams playing in the Grand Finals! 🙌
