APNIC, the Asia Pacific Network Information Centre, is a not-for-profit organization dedicated to sustaining a global, open, stable, and secure Internet that serves the Asia Pacific region. APNIC works primarily as the Regional Internet address Registry (or RIR) for the Asia Pacific, with responsibility for distribution and management of IP addresses, and for registry services including "whois", r

esource certification, and reverse DNS. As an RIR, APNIC facilitates bottom up, community-based development of Internet resource policies, which determine how IP addresses and related resources are managed.

The 2026 APNIC Survey is open.

This is your chance to tell us:
- What APNIC is doing well.
- Where APNIC could be doing better.
- Where we should focus improvements in 2027 and beyond.

Your input directly shapes our annual Activity Plans and five-year strategy.

Takes ~10 minutes. Open to everyone in the Asia Pacific Internet community.

The 2026 APNIC Survey — your chance to directly inform APNIC’s strategic planning, priorities, and future direction — will be open from 1 to 28 June 2026. It takes about ten minutes to complete, and you could win a prize.

APNIC Academy delivered an IPv6 Workshop during in Taipei last week, held right after Internet Week. Hosted with venue support from TWNIC the workshop brought together 24 participants from across the community, including students, ISPs, solution providers, and cloud service providers.

The cohort also included seven TWNOG Workshop fellows from across Taiwan, along with an international perspective from a Myanmar student studying at National Tsing Hua University.

A great week of learning, collaboration, and strengthening the local network operator community. Well done to all involved.
