Hatfield Rovers Hatfield Rover Unit is based at the Box Hill North Scout Group, Tyne St, Box Hill North

Hatfield Rover Crew was founded by our long serving adviser, Gifford Hatfield. It continues to be a very successful Rover Crew, serving eastern Melbourne. We meet on Friday Nights from 8pm until late, and often go away for weekend trips. Feel free to come along, or for more information send us a message and we will get back to you!

For our first week back at rovers we had a wonderful beach camp down at The Pines Altona!!
We had a fabulous time swimming, exploring and gardening!
We also had a great time helping out The Pines with some gardening and enjoyed a lunch provided by them to which we are very thankful for!
Overall a great start to the year!!

A few months ago we held a wonderful celebration for our fomer RA Gifford Hatfield as we (belatedly) celebrated his Order of Australia medal and Scouts life membership. He also reached the huge milestone of 70 years of service to scouting this year.
We honoured him with a brand new Hatfield hoodie to add to his collection.
We had a fabulous day celebrating, reuniting and enjoying a delicious sausage sizzle by the Whitehorse Venturers.
It was great seeing past, present and future Hatfield rovers coming together to celebrate this momentous occasion.

Not too long ago our crew went on our 2nd annual rover road trip!!
We drove a whopping 736 kilometres over the grand final weekend. Everyone had a fabulous time driving through Victoria’s beautiful high country where we stopped at Shepparton, Glen Rowan, Rutherglen, Myrtleford and Mansfield just to name a few.
We had an amazing weekend and cant wait for next year’s road trip!

A few weeks ago some of Hatfields rovers went on a snow camp up to Mt Buller. We had a great time skiing, making snow men and enjoying the stunning views as well as a sneaky trip to the hospital.
We were lucky enough to be camped on a beautiful property in Mansfield and are so appreciative of the owners letting us camp there.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Bree for organising this camp!
