They’re here!! Our annual horse trials championship rugs are completed and ready to ship out to our deserving Pony Club champions!! Thank you to Horseland Mornington for generously supplying the rugs for the winners! We are so grateful for you guys supporting our club.

The sun shined on us all at last weekends rally and all our riders brought along their smiles and enthusiasm, it was great to see everyone enjoying their time in the saddle and cheering each other on. Thank you as always to Rhys whythelongfaces.com for capturing all the fun.

Last but not least our younger riders, small in stature but every one of them big in heart, ever encouraging and supportive of each other. An extra shout out to the parents for all the support and encouragement they offer every rider in their group.

Last weekend 4 more riders finalized their D* requirements and have now achieved their Certificates, we are looking forward to presenting these riders at our next rally. We are so proud of the work you have put in and continue to put into your ongoing horsemanship. Thank you to SMZ DCI Simone James for putting them through their paces.

Another fun jumping afternoon with Kirilee Hosier, thanks for making the trip down once more! Just didn’t quite beat the rain. A special mention to Mia who stepped a long way out of her comfort zone yesterday and may not realise it, but was very brave!
Even when things don’t go to plan, there’s lessons to learn 🤩♥️

Pony Club Victoria wishes to advise that The Board has approved separation of the State Showjumping and Dressage Championships into two standalone events, effective from the 2027 season.

The decision has been made in collaboration with the State Zone Representative Panel and aligns closely with the 2026-2030 Strategic Plan ‘Creating Our Future’.

From 2027, the State Showjumping and Dressage Championships will be conducted as two separate events rather than a combined Championship weekend.

This format will additionally align qualification and selection methods with State Horse Trials requirements through the introduction of statewide qualifying criteria and minimum eligibility requirements (MERS).

Further information will be provided in the coming weeks.
