We have our CQ Sub Chamber Regional Finals for Showgirl and Rural Ambassador next Saturday the 27th June 2026 in Biloela. If you’d like to attend the presentation dinner bookings are due by tomorrow the 20th. A link will be in the comments. Representing the Callide Valley is our Showgirl winner Ava Haines and Rural Ambassador nominee Megan Kent. We wish them all the best.

The countdown is officially on for our 2026 State Finals, and there’s plenty to look forward to across an exciting week of competition, leadership, and community spirit.

From our Young Judges and Young Paraders competitions to the Queensland Country Life Showgirl and Rural Ambassador programs, these events celebrate the future of our show movement: young people stepping up with skill, confidence, and passion for agriculture.

We’re looking forward to seeing competitors from across Queensland come together to showcase their knowledge, leadership, and love for the industry.

For the 91st Callide Valley Show in 2027, our Special Feature for Photography is "Abandoned Places". It's never too early to start scouting around for photography subjects or maybe you have a place in mind already! So, start planning now for that abandoned place that you would like to capture with your camera!

We have so many clever crafters in the Callide Valley! The range and talent on display at the 90th Callide Valley Show was impressive. Beautiful quilts, intricate metalwork, clothing, woodwork, handmade toys and more filled our pavilions this year. Take a look at just some of the amazing work that was on display, along with the results. Well done everyone! We look forward to seeing what you create for next year's Show 🙂

🐎 Horse Events Highlights – 90th Callide Valley Show 🐎
What an amazing two days of horse events at this year’s 90th Callide Valley Show! From the thrill of jumping to ranch riding, to beautifully presented led and ridden classes, competitors showcased exceptional talent and sportsmanship.
Spectators also enjoyed plenty of fun and creativity in the crowd-favourite costume classes.
Congratulations to all competitors, judges, volunteers and supporters who made this year’s horse events such a fantastic success!
