Leadership lessons… with a little wildlife on the side. 🦘
'Twas a great afternoon at Southern Cross University’s "Lessons in Leadership" lunch, hearing from an impressive group of SCU alumni whose careers span diplomacy, community impact, education and healthcare.
One theme that resonated for me was that regardless of how successful someone may appear, they're likely to be feeling some sense of imposter syndrome. A somewhat related idea was that many leaders have been motivated by others telling them they wouldn't be able to achieve something - which drove them to break through that limitation. 💥 It's clear that leadership doesn’t follow one path, and tackling limiting beliefs head-on can be a ripe source of innovation. 💡
