'Twas a great turnout at last month's PITCH & PIZZA startup showcase event at the Gold Coast Innovation Hub. That's why we're launching the GOLD COAST OPEN DATA CHALLENGE- a two-day event where locals come together to tackle real community challenges and turn ideas into action.

You don't need to be a coder.

Whether you're a developer, AI enthusiast, student, designer, entrepreneur, creative thinker, community advocate, or simply someone with a great idea, we'd love to have you involved.

Over one weekend, you'll meet new people, learn new skills, work with real open data, and help create solutions that could make life on the Gold Coast just that little bit better.

This free event is for Queensland founders and SMEs ready to turn early-stage ideas into research projects, with up to $50,000 in matched funding through the Regional University Industry Collaboration (RUIC) program.
