So why is a marketing strategist taking people through a capacity reset this Friday? Well, before marketing I spent most of my early life in health, wellness, and fitness. And now, what I keep seeing was business owners and their marketing teams, struggle with regulated capacity… most of them are high performing founders who are go go go and never stop. It’s not that they’re not doing enough.

They do a lot. But because they do so much, juggle so many things, make so many important decisions, learn so many challenging new things, and never reset, their nervous system is running on overdrive. It’s like never shutting the computer down, all the tabs always open, and yeah, the computer still works, but it’s slower, clunky, and absolutely draining.

That’s why I’m hosting this Defrag morning in Varsity Lakes on Friday, and it’s for men and women (we have many men booked already) .

After using this method myself for years , I went and got qualified as I wanted to share it .

You see … We slow down to speed up, reset the nervous system, close the mental tabs, and come back clearer and stronger.
It’s a simple morning session from 7-9am… with optional breakfast after.

Come join us.

A very special thank you to good friend Joe Hanlon and Georgina Mason from the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation for the opportunity to go behind the scenes at the Gold Coast University Hospital and gain a much greater understanding of what it takes to keep such an incredible facility operating every day.

We were fortunate to attend representing Varsity Lakes Community Limited and Sports House, alongside members of Specialist Wealth, and it was also great to catch up again with Andy Karabouloukis, Director of Sales at The Star Gold Coast. The Satr being a major contributor to the Foundation.

It is quite remarkable to experience the hospital from a completely different perspective when you’re not there as a patient.

Seeing firsthand the lifesaving work being undertaken by doctors, nurses, scientists, specialists and researchers — from the Stem Cell department and ICU through to the next-generation training facilities — was both fascinating and humbling.

Just as impressive was gaining a deeper appreciation of the work undertaken by the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation.

Their contribution goes far beyond fundraising.

The Foundation helps provide lifesaving equipment, supports research and innovation, improves patient and family facilities, assists hospital teams and helps create better environments for people who are often experiencing some of the most difficult moments of their lives.

And a special visit to the hospital helipad was certainly an unexpected highlight!

For me, the visit also had a very personal connection.

When my Dad became seriously ill and ultimately passed away, I experienced firsthand just how important the facilities, services, staff and support within our hospitals can be.It was an incredibly difficult period for our family, but the care and compassion we received made those circumstances that little bit more bearable. Coincidentally, Joe was there the day my dad passed - something I'll never forget. He helped, simply by a hug, to make the day a little easier.

Experiences like that stay with you.

It was a timely reminder that when the Gold Coast Hospital Foundation comes calling during one of its appeals, we should all dig deep. Because while we all hope we never need these services, the reality is that one day, either we or someone we love almost certainly will.

A huge thank you again to Joe, Georgina and the team for the opportunity to see the incredible work happening behind the scenes and to better understand the impact the Foundation makes every single day.

An incredible hospital and foundation - extraordinary people and a worthy cause.

🌿 RESET YOUR CAPACITY — BREATHWORK FOR BUSINESS OWNERS 🌿
📍 @ Sports House Varsity Lakes
📅 Friday 9 October | 7:00am–9:00am

Running a business can mean carrying a lot — decisions, people, deadlines, ideas, responsibilities and the constant pressure to keep everything moving.

Sometimes the most productive thing you can do is create some space to stop, reset and clear your head.

Join Chantal Gerardy, award-winning marketing strategist and capacity coach, at Sports House Varsity Lakes for Liberate: Capacity Reset — a guided breathwork session created especially for business owners who are feeling stretched, overloaded or simply ready to lead with a little more clarity and ease.

✨ This morning is about:
• Resetting and creating some breathing space
• Clearing mental overload
• Stepping away from the constant “to-do” list
• Reconnecting with yourself and your priorities
• Meeting other business owners who understand the pressure

This is not another networking event and it’s not another thing you need to perform at.

It’s two hours to step away from the noise, reset, and give yourself some room to think again.

☕ Afterwards, those who are keen can head next door for breakfast and a relaxed catch-up.

📍 Sports House Varsity Lakes
📅 Friday 9 October
⏰ 7:00am–9:00am
🎟️ Limited places available to keep the session intimate

If your calendar is full, your head is even fuller, and you’ve been running at capacity for a little too long — this morning might be exactly the circuit breaker you need.

Breathe clearer. Lead better.
