Bega VIEW Club VIEW stands for the Voice, Interests and Education of Women. Bega Evening VIEW Club was formed in 1979. Meeting Day is on 2nd Thursday of the month at 11.15 am.

Our VIEW Club has now started to meet during the day as from 2022. Currently, the Club sponsors two Smith Family Learning for Life students and is actively involved in fundraising activities to raise donations for The Smith Family Learning for Life programs. Bega VIEW Club will hold its September luncheon on Thursday the 10th of September at The Bega Golf Club. Members and guests will partake in the ever popular ploughmans lunch supplied by The Bega Hospital Auxiliary. Barbara Chambers will interview two ladies with an interesting “War Brides” connection. To celebrate spring there will also be a short table quizz. Because the Return and Earn machine is located at The Golf Club ladies are asked to please bring along any empty bottles, cans etc and we will take the opportunity to feed them into the machine and earn our share towards the goal of $200,000 for the Learning for Life students. We will also do a photo shoot at the same time. Please phone 0459 043 307 to book by 6 pm on Monday the 7th of September as the Hospital ladies need to know how many to cater for.

Bega VIEW Club ladies enjoyed a lovely luncheon at the Grand Hotel for their July monthly meeting. The guest speaker for this month was Sue Mackinnon, who gave a very interesting talk on the very popular Teen Clinic in Bega, and the move of Bega Valley Medical Practice, along with information on the newly established Urgent Care Clinic.

Some very lucky Bega VIEW Club ladies enjoyed a special morning out at a brunch during July. The brunch was catered for by the Bega TAFE students so that the public can taste the culinary delights they have spent all year learning how to cook and prepare.
