ANZAC Day is a day of rememberance. A day to remember, reflect and honour the deeds and sacrifices of our servicemen and women in Gallipolli 111 years ago during WW1. Of the sacrifices that have been made during the second World War and the conflicts in many other parts of the world.

Today Kananga spread across the city and suburbs, paying their respects in dawn services and marches throughout the community.

Also a massive congratulations to Harley and Sam for the their new positions on the Sydney North RRC and a well done to Nathan who concluded his role as the SNR Rover Treasurer this year.

This weekend, Kananga took on MMT hosted by as Le Rats: Bringers of the Plague. Directions were read wrong, emergency envelopes were opened once and despite being on time we still managed to be late. This year, one of our Rovers, Emma, attended to Portugal World Moot, joining thousands of Rovers from across the world in the adventure of a lifetime. Our Unit is proud of this huge accomplishment and have thoroughly enjoyed hearing about her adventures and most prestigious award of finding the largest pinecone at the moot!
