Congratulations to Sasha for success at the Lions Youth of the Year Regional Final. There were 6 awesome candidates, and they all impressed.
These young people are fine examples of today's youth, and our nation's future is assured in their hands.

LIONS YOUTH OF THE YEAR REGIONAL WINNER.
Following her win at the Zone level earlier this term, Year 11 student Sasha recently competed in the Regional final of the Lions Youth of the Year competition. Sasha did an outstanding job, excelling in both the interview and public speaking components, demonstrating confidence, maturity, and the ability to communicate her ideas thoughtfully and effectively.

Despite the challenging nature of the competition and the exceptional performance of the other participants, Sasha was named the overall winner on the day and will now progress to the District final to be held in Hervey Bay next month.

Well done, Sasha, and thank you to Mrs Payne for continuing to champion this program that encourages young people to develop leadership qualities and an active commitment to their community.
