Lakemba Mosque is seeking approval to broadcast the Friday Adhan through loudspeakers in a respectful, limited and regulated way.

This is not about noise. This is about belonging.

For generations, Lakemba Mosque has been a spiritual home for thousands of Australian Muslims - a place of prayer, family, community and connection.

The request is simple and reasonable: once a week, on Fridays, for 3 minutes at midday, under proper acoustic controls, in a way that respects both worshippers and residents.

Cottam Cup Derby – Final Score

Auburn X League 5️⃣ – 2️⃣ Auburn AAM Div 1

What a fantastic night of football in the Cottam Cup derby. For 90 minutes, teammates became opponents as Auburn X League and Auburn AAM Div 1 battled it out in a competitive and entertaining clash. Auburn X League came away with a 5-2 victory, but the real winner was the club spirit on display throughout the night.

Plenty of passion, quality football, and great support from both sides made this a derby to remember. Rivalries may exist on the field, but at the final whistle we remain one club, one family, united as one. 💚💛⚽
