Arawata Community Hall Association The historic Arawata Hall, established 1888, is the hub of the Arawata/Kardella community. The Casserole tea nights keep the community connected.

The Hall is used on a regular basis for shared Casserole teas once a month all year round, a Farmers' Breakfast and Caulfield Cup Sweep, local Landcare group meetings and special events with Guest Speakers. The Arawata Annual Trivia night in May is always packed to the rafters and has a Perpetual Trophy awarded to the winning team. Coming together for community events means that we share the laugh

ter, the working bees, the condolences for losses and find out who in the area needs a little bit of TLC. We love our little hall and take pride in keeping it well maintained.

A fantastic night again at the Arawata Hall dinner, great turn out with beautiful home cooked meals and a good time had by all. The annual Trivia shield that has been engraved was presented to Nick from the winning team by Jenny.
The youngest human library speaker so far, Troy Dowrick gave us all a delightful insight to growing up on the Sunshine Coast and travels to Canada, New Zealand, Japan and Europe where he represented Australia playing water polo. Troy has packed alot into his life so far and is now returning to university.
