These are just a few of the embroideries being worked on or have been completed so far this year. Our group provides such interesting opportunities to experience not only new stitches but also new ways of incorporating these stitches into works of art. We had a fabulous workshop by one of our members on the art of creating very textured embroideries with the results being used on coat hangers which became too gorgeous to use - definitely best for display only. Later this month we are holding a workshop by the talented Robyn Alexander (ex-Colour Streams) which will stretch the participants with her creative use of stitch and design.
