Rotary Club of Adelaide Central Club members enjoy networking & working together on a wide variety of local, national and international projects. YOU ARE WELCOME. Come along as our guest.

Rotarians actively living the motto: Service Above Self. The Rotary Club of Adelaide Central meets every fortnight on a THURSDAY at 12.30pm at Radio 5EBI 103.1.fm, 10 Byron Place, Adelaide. At 1pm we sit down for a lunch (not compulsory to eat each week - it's an option) and to hold our weekly non-stuffy meeting. Be greeted by our members. Hear a guest speaker. Learn a bit about Rotary. Hear about

the great programs our club, and others in Rotary worldwide are running. Of course, we would LOVE to see you get involved in Rotary and maybe even become a member. But, you will not be forced to do so. We're a friendly bunch. We'd love to have you there. LEARN MORE - telephone Bill Marles on 0410 523 106

COME TO LUNCH - Just one hour and you can get a feel for why 1.2 million smiling people worldwide are part of Rotary. Bookings essential for catering purposes. Please email [email protected] or phone 7444 5086.

Bill Marles wears a range of hats as a Rotarian including being Adelaide Central's VP and Marketing Director. Last night he donned another, his Event Manager hat, to address members of the Rotary Club of West Lakes about the recent very successful Rotary Pioneer Adventure Day.

Thanks for making him welcome, West Lakes.

Australian Rotary Health Rural Nursing Scholarships make an important contribution to improving access to quality health services in regional areas.

Because of your support, Pooja Patel is building a future in rural healthcare - in the very community she calls home.

Pooja received an Australian Rotary Health Rural Nursing Scholarship while studying at Federation University’s Gippsland Campus, supported by the Rotary Club of Sale.

Now transitioning into her graduate year at Central Gippsland Health Service in Sale, she is helping strengthen healthcare access for regional communities close to home.

For Pooja, rural nursing is about far more than clinical skills. It is about connection, compassion and caring for people whose stories and circumstances you come to know personally. It is about working in communities where every healthcare professional matters, and where quality care close to home can change lives.

“People, no matter where they live, deserve quality, compassionate care,” Pooja says.

Because of supporters like you, emerging health professionals are not only able to complete their training - they are able to stay, serve and grow within the communities that need them most.

This is the impact of Australian Rotary Health.

Every donation over $2 is tax deductible.

This photo of our Share the Care collection outside Romeo's Foodland, North Adelaide Village, was taken bright and early on Saturday 9th May. Six and a half hours later nearly $3,000 worth of groceries had been donated to help families and individuals who are struggling to stay afloat financially or experiencing homelessness. Truly amazing generosity by the local community.

Our wonderful volunteers will be back there accepting donations and enjoying a chat again on Saturday 6th June, 9am till 4.30pm.

Our 2026 Winter Blanket Appeal is officially off to a warm start thanks to this generous donation of snuggly Sherpa blankets by members of Adelaide Bible Students.

With Winter just a few days away, temperatures are dropping rapidly at night. Blankets like these will ensure that struggling families and individuals will be able keep those chills at bay.

If you would like to donate blankets to our appeal to help more families, you can drop them during office hours, weekdays, to either:
Katron Creative
24 Oakley Street, Adelaide; or
Belperio Connell Lawyers, Mediators and Collaborative Practitioners,
94 Sturt Street, Adelaide.
