Australia’s reconciliation journey has been shaped over generations.

National Reconciliation Week is opportunity to reflect on the moments, people, and actions that have shaped that journey so far.

This year’s theme, “All In”, is a reminder that reconciliation takes an ongoing commitment from all of us.

Take a moment this week to reflect, learn, or start a conversation.

We were proud to attend the National Reconciliation Week Breakfast on Kaurna Yerta today. 🖤💛❤️

Thousands of people from communities across South Australia came together to reflect, learn, and continue the journey toward reconciliation, illustrating the power of this year’s theme, ‘All In’.

Thank you to Reconciliation South Australia for hosting such an impactful event. We were so inspired by the incredible speakers, performances, and the celebration of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures, voices, and businesses.

Today is National Sorry Day.

It marks the history of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander children who were forcibly removed from their families and communities, known as the Stolen Generations.

These policies had lasting impacts, disrupting connection to culture, identity, and family. For many people, those impacts are still felt today.

National Sorry Day is a time to remember, reflect, and continue learning about this history and its ongoing effects.

Taking the time to understand is an important step toward respect and reconciliation. 🖤💛❤️

When Vera walked into the Northern Adelaide Medicare Mental Health Centre for her first day as a student on placement, she was nervous to step into something completely new.

What she found was a supportive team, meaningful connections, and a space where simply being there to listen can make all the difference.

At Sonder, we believe safe and welcoming mental health spaces matter - not just for people seeking support, but also for future mental health workers learning how to provide it. 💙
