🎉 Last week, on 28 May, APPEAR celebrated its 15+2 Anniversary Event in Vienna, bringing together around 100 participants, scholarship holders, and partners from Austria and partner countries to reflect on the programme’s achievements, share project results, and discuss future perspectives for higher education cooperation.
🌟 Among the highlights of the event were the presentation of the new APPEAR Metareflections publication and the preliminary results of the programme evaluation, which confirmed APPEAR’s strong relevance and impact. The day concluded with lively networking and inspiring exchanges among participants.
We were also honoured to receive a video message from Austrian Federal Minister for European and International Affairs, Beate Meinl-Reisinger, who congratulated APPEAR on its achievements and continued contribution to international academic cooperation.
A special thank you goes the active contributions of our current and former sholarship holders:
🇦🇲 Tigran Keryan, a BOKU University graduate and APPEAR project team member presented his chapter in the APPEAR Metareflections publication.
🇺🇬 Caroline Paparu shared her experiences as a PhD researcher at BOKU University and her role in the APPEAR project AMUTI.
Thank you to everyone who joined us in celebrating more than 15 years of partnership, collaboration, and capacity development through higher education.
