‼️A Historic First: Ukrainian Business Delegation to Seychelles

We are proud to share a landmark achievement for Ukrainian business diplomacy: the first-ever business delegation from Ukraine to the Republic of Seychelles, organized by Ukrainian Business Council Dubai & Northern Emirates.

During our visit, we had the privilege of meeting with the leadership of the Seychelles Investment Board and Seychelles Chamber of Commerce & Industry, engaging in productive discussions on investment, trade, innovation, and future economic cooperation between our countries.

Seychelles is widely recognized as one of the world’s most attractive tourism destinations, but our discussions highlighted a much broader economic story. Despite its population of just over 100,000 people, Seychelles has built a stable, business-friendly environment with strong international connectivity, a strategic location between Africa, the Middle East, and Asia, and a clear vision for sustainable development.

We explored opportunities across several high-potential sectors:

🔹 Renewable Energy & Sustainability – As an island nation committed to energy transition and climate resilience, Seychelles is actively pursuing innovative solutions in renewable energy, energy efficiency, and sustainable infrastructure.

Our conversations confirmed a shared interest in building stronger economic ties and creating new channels for collaboration between Ukrainian and Seychellois businesses. The Ukrainian Business Council had the honor of attending a high-level session hosted by Dubai Chambers, in collaboration with Emirates NBD, under the theme “Supporting the Business Community in Navigating Challenging Times.”

The session brought together key stakeholders from the public and private sectors, including H.E. Mohammad Ali Rashed Lootah, along with senior representatives from leading companies across Dubai.

This important dialogue provided valuable insights into the evolving economic landscape and addressed the current challenges faced by businesses, while highlighting practical approaches to resilience and growth.
