I Drink Local is a Dubai-based, homegrown initiative to promote the consumption of local water in all of our local restaurants, lounges and cafés.
◦ ◦ How does it work? ◦ ◦
I Drink Local is like a rating app for consumers, but for water. The I Drink Local app and website lets you let others know if local eateries serve (or don't serve) local water. Simply ask if
the staff if the restaurant serves local bottled water or filtered tap water, find the location in the app, and answer 'yes' or 'no'.
◦ ◦ What's the goal of I Drink Local? ◦ ◦
Every time someone tags a restaurant, lounge or café with a 'yes', (meaning that it offers local water as a menu option), that place gets a blue tag. Our goal is to turn the map blue.
◦ ◦ Why make I Drink Local in the first place? ◦ ◦
From the high cost of important water to the comparatively eco-friendly alternative of locally-sourced, locally-bottled water, there are lots of reasons to go local. But mainly, we are advocates for choice, and believe in supporting homegrown, local brands and companies.

We’re MBLM, a brand intimacy agency with HQ in New York and offices around the world. We made I Drink Local independently, on our own time, as a non-profit initiative and passion project.
