Feminism needn’t be a foreign concept to young women, we contextually have to bring it into their own lived experiences.

Investing in young people is worth it, on all fronts of life. The future we yearn for is embedded in the ability to embrace their ideas with what we already know in order to build towards better and more socially just societies.

our crush this week is YFS alumna Tsitsi Mutamba. Today we celebrate her recent graduation from the University of Zimbabwe. Tsitsi attained a BSc Honours degree in Pharmaceutical Chemistry. We wish her all the best in her next chapter.

The United Leaders Global (ULG) Ambassador Program is a global leadership initiative that brings together emerging leaders from different countries who are passionate about community development, youth empowerment, gender equality, cross-cultural collaboration, and achieving the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

Ntando was selected for the 2026 program from 300 exceptional young leaders from more than 60 countries, following a competitive selection process involving over 1,000 applicants. As Global Ambassadors, participants become part of an international network where they can represent their communities, engage in global advocacy, develop their leadership capacity, and collaborate with other young leaders around the world.

Through the program, ambassadors have opportunities to participate in trainings, workshops, leadership initiatives, global events, advocacy activities, and collaborative projects. They are also encouraged to share ideas, build professional networks, promote positive change in their communities, and contribute to solutions to global challenges.

Being a ULG Global Ambassador is therefore not simply a title; it is an opportunity to connect, learn, lead, represent, and create meaningful impact both locally and globally.
