Throwback to our intensive Ethics, Governance & Risk Management BDU Workshop (2-6 March 2026) in Durban, South Africa.
Over five days, we brought together finance professionals and decision-makers from across Eastern and Southern Africa to explore the critical intersection of ethics, governance, and enterprise risk management.
Highlights:
• 15 in-depth sessions covering ethical frameworks, governance structures, ERM fundamentals, and emerging risks (AI, ESG, compliance)
• Expert facilitation by Kefa Nyakundi and Hamish Chipungu- both seasoned consultants with deep regional expertise
• Interactive case studies, risk assessments, and business simulations that moved learning into practice
• Participants left equipped to build ethical cultures, strengthen governance, and integrate risk management into strategic planning
From identifying ethical dilemmas to designing risk mitigation strategies, participants engaged with real-world challenges facing institutions across the region. The workshop reinforced a core truth: ethics, governance, and risk management are not separate functions, they're interconnected pillars of organizational resilience.
