New Bronville NPO extends its heartfelt gratitude to Activate! Change Drivers (Mr Ditiro), the Mine Workers Development Agency (MWDA), the National Youth Service, and the incredible community of Bronville for participating in our Civic and Voter Education Workshop. The programme was truly fruitful, with passionate discussions about democracy, the importance of exercising our right to vote, and the role of young people in decision-making. We explored legislation, public policies, and the importance of holding leaders accountable for effective policy implementation. We hope that every participant left more informed, empowered, and ready to become an active citizen.
South Africa belongs to the now generation! Thirty years into our democratic journey, young people must understand that democracy goes beyond voting; it requires active participation, accountability, and community involvement. As we approach 4 November, we encourage every eligible voter to make an informed choice and exercise their democratic right. We cannot demand change while remaining absent from the processes that shape our future. The change we want to see must begin with us! Let us be informed, participate in decision-making, and use our voices to build the South Africa we deserve.
A heartfelt appreciation to our supporers! We thank SAPS for raising awareness about potential conflicts during election periods and the measures to prevent and address them. Special appreciation goes to Bronville Funeral Services for consistently supporting our community initiatives. We also commend the New Bronville NPO team for reminding participants about the Ke Moja Programme and its role in substance-use prevention. To everyone who attended, thank you for making this engagement meaningful. Let us turn knowledge into action and build a community where every voice matter.
