Antoni Smile Antoni is a 16 year old boy living with Epilepsy, Cerebral Palsy and a tracheostomy since birth. He is wheelchair bound and lives with a permanent tracheostomy.

Antoni is a 13 year old boy living with Epilepsy and Cerebral Palsy since birth. His mother is his permanent carer as Antoni is prone to pull out his trachea and he will get seizures at night, so mom has to stay up and make sure he doesn't smother while asleep. We are a group of friends who started a Non-profit company to raise funds for Antoni's medical bills, specialized diet specific for epilep

sy, wheel chair and a carer to assist mom during the day with his exercises, nappy changing and cleaning of the trachea. Being a special needs mom changes you in ways you never expected.

Antoni may not speak, but his eyes and his smile, says to me what others can't hear. I have learned to listen with my heart and to celebrate the things that others might take for granted.

There are days when I feel exhausted, worried and overwhelmed. I wonder about his future and wish I could make life easier for him. But then he smiles, and I am reminded just how incredibly precious he is.

I have learned that motherhood isn't always about milestones, independence or what the world expects. Sometimes its about celebrating one tiny step, one happy moment, one seizure free night, or simply knowing that Antoni is loved completely.

I am his voice when, his advocate, and his safe place when the world feels too much.

I don't need him to fit into the world. I just wish the world would make a little more space for children like him.

He is not less because he is different.
His life has value. He matters. His story matters.

And I will keep showing up for him, loving him, fighting for him and celebrating him — every single day. ❤️
