Happy Yappers Animal Sanctuary is a pro-life shelter dedicated to rescuing, rehabilitating, and re-homing dogs in need. Our shelter, located in the scenic Syferbult area, 20 km outside Magaliesburg, Gauteng, has the capacity to care for up to 140 dogs at a time. We provide comprehensive care for dogs, including spacious kennels, free run areas, and dedicated caregivers who implement programs focus
ed on rehabilitation, socialization, and preparing dogs for adoption. OUTREACH PROGRAMME
Every month we go to townships and informal settlements to assist the local community with the care of their dogs. We offer a wide range of services, including sterilisation, vaccinations, deworming, tick and flea treatments, as well as addressing the medical needs of sick dogs. Additionally, we provide education on proper dog care, advocate for the release of dogs in constrained conditions, and seek permission from owners to uplift litters. VOLUNTEERING
Volunteering is a vital part of our organization, and we appreciate everyone who chooses to donate their time and energy to our cause. At Happy Yappers, there is a wide range of activities you can get involved in, including:
