Change Begins When Fathers Are Present.

The Valley of De Doorns is a community with incredible potential — and at Mountgrape NPC we believe that unlocking that potential begins with investing in people, families and children.
Yesterday marked the beginning of an important 8-week journey at , bringing fathers, grandfathers and uncles together with their children.

This journey is built on a simple but powerful belief: Children do better when the important men in their lives are present.

is more than being physically there. It means , , , , , . Correcting with love. And, most importantly, showing our children that they matter.

Over the next eight weeks, these men will have an on their role, strengthen relationships with their children and discover practical ways to become more and role models.

For MountGrape NPC, this is not simply a programme, it's part of a bigger commitment to the . A commitment to see children thriving , families becoming stronger and communities moving forward.

We want to thank the fathers, grandfathers and uncles who said "Yes" to this journey. .

On Tuesday, June 16, 2026, Mountgrape NPC brought together their for a wonderful team building event.

These Champions serve their communities every day. Upon their arrival, each one was greeted with a foot washing to acknowledge and strengthen their willingness to serve with love and humility.
We then enjoyed an hour of jamming in a djembe presented by . What a wonderful way to reduce stress, process emotions, and build social connection. The perfect teambuilding event!

Well done to Mountgrape NPC and the 17 unemployed youth from De Doorns who successfully completed the 9 day programme.

This initiative has empowered young people with the and knowledge to prepare them for their future and their job journey. This is a significant milestone and a step toward building a stronger, more confident generation.

Thank you to everyone who supported and contributed to making this programme a success. Together, we are creating opportunities and changing lives.

Big things are happening! Today, Mountgrape NPC officially kicked off with our second program with 17 incredible young people from !
This is a huge milestone for us as we double down on investing in the skills, guidance and future careers of our youth during this 9 day course.
We can't wait to see where this journey takes them.
