Maria is one of the caretakers at Brave Heart Home and part of the team who looks after our children every day.

Being a caretaker is about much more than getting through a daily routine. It is meals, bath time, clean clothes, little conversations, difficult days, laughter and being there when a child needs you.

𝗧𝗵𝗮𝗻𝗸 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗠𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗮, for the role you play in making Brave Heart Home a safe place for our children.

A visit that brought plenty of smiles to Brave Heart Home.

Thank you to 𝗡𝗚𝗞 𝗠𝘂𝗿𝗿𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝘂𝗻𝗱𝗮𝘆 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 for spending time with our children and for the lovely donations of toys, clothes and warm slippers.

The children loved having you here, but most of all, they loved the time spent playing and simply being together.

Our children have busy schedules! From vital medical check-ups and therapy sessions to school runs and extracurricular activities, getting them safely to where they need to go is a massive logistical task.

Many of our children lack access to safe and reliable transportation. By volunteering your time and your vehicle, you can make a profound difference in a child's life.

Why volunteer as a driver?

Ensure our kids never miss critical medical or therapeutic care.
Help them participate in extracurriculars that build confidence and joy.
Provide a safe, friendly, and reliable ride when they need it most.

If you have a valid driver’s license, a reliable vehicle, a passion for child safety, and a few spare hours a week, we would love to have you on our transport team!
