Dit is nie altyd net van optel en ry nie. So sal oud en jonk doen wat dit vat om eers vertroue te wen. Dankie dat tannie Lauretta Stolk nou nog bereid is om dit te doen.

❗️❗️❗️ PUBLIC NOTICE ❗️❗️❗️

This message is to every resident of De Aar Northern Cape.
Hereby I want to ask everyone to PLEASE keep your animals in your yard/ on your property!!! You as a animal owner are RESPONSIBLE for the animal(s). De Aar Animal Shelter are not there to just take roaming animals away, it is not our duty - it is you as a animal owner’s duty to look after you’re animals, feed them, give them water, give them shelter & most of all keep them SAFE!!!! Roaming animals especially dogs are a safety risk to motor vehicle drivers as they can cause accidents and if it can be proved that it was your dog(s) walking in the streets while the accident occured, you as the owner are responsible for any damages caused.
Hereby a very friendly warning to all animal owners - keep you’re animals safe, I am busy working with local authorities and if we at the Shelter receive multiple complaints about your dog(s) roaming the streets of De Aar, you will be issued a fine, this will also include ILLEGAL DOG BREEDERS!!!!

Be RESPONSIBLE
Be a good ANIMAL OWNER

No matter how hard life gets, never take your pain out on a stray animal who is only trying to survive.

They didn't choose to be homeless. They didn't choose to be hungry. And they certainly didn't choose the world they were born into.

Please, if you cannot help them, at least don't hurt them. A little kindness from you could mean the difference between fear and safety for a soul that has already endured so much.
