A laid-back outdoor event where moms and kids enjoy adventure (outdoor) games, South African indigenous play, calm afternoon picnic-style music, and a space to connect.

Mothers and children of all ages are welcome.
Please note: structured activities will be suitable for children aged 3 years and older.

Men may be providers and protectors but they still need a soft cushion to land on. That means offering them support and creating a safe space for them to be vulnerable. A place to talk about their fears and to listen without judgement when they share.
Men are human too, with emotions that they should be able to express and communicate without being seen as weak or less than. In the absence of this, we will have men who suffocate in an effort to always come across as strong and put together.
When they suffer, experience mental health issues and they are unable to fully show up in their roles as fathers, brothers, uncles - families also suffer, communities break down and society also suffer.
We need to encourage our men. Love and support them and acknowledge their efforts whilst re-assuring them that they are not alone.
When we build our men, we help in creating stronger families and an emotionally healthy society.
