Apricot Tree Apricot Tree Centre is a Non Profit Organisation based in the East Rand and was
founded in 2009.

A nurturing East Rand NPO dedicated to supporting children with special needs through personalized care, inclusive education, and a safe, empowering environment where every child can grow, learn, and thrive ๐ŸŒฑ The Centre accepts children from 3 to 23yrs with varying
intellectual and developmental disabilities. The children we cater for have unique disabilities often not accepted in the public or ma

instream special needs schools. We keep our classrooms to a maximum of 7 children per teacher, this ensures the child receives the maximum educational benefit possible. As each child is different, an IDP (Individual Development Program) is set up for them establishing specific attainable goals and is designed to enable the highest level of development. The child's progress is monitored and reported on at the end of each term. The Centre has a holistic approach, directing its efforts not only towards the development of the child, but also towards the support of families with special needs children.

On 28 May 2026 Apricot Tree is hosting our annual Charity Golf Day at Benoni Country Club. We are inviting local business leaders and teams to join us for a day of high-level networking and community impact.

We are currently looking for Corporate Sponsors and Fourballs and Hole sponsors to help us reach our goal of providing special needs families with a preferred future.

This is a fantastic opportunity to build team morale while supporting inclusivity and accessibility for the special needs community.
