💚🧱 FREE CHAPEL ALBERTON SUPPORTS STEPPING STONE HOSPICE – BRICK BY BRICK 🧱💚

At Free Chapel Alberton, we believe that faith is expressed through love, compassion, and caring for those in need.

We are excited to promote the incredible vision of Stepping Stone Hospice as they launch their "Brick by Brick" Campaign to build a new 14-bed In-Patient Unit in Raceview, Alberton.

This much-needed facility will provide comfort, dignity, and compassionate care to individuals and families facing life-limiting illnesses in our community.

Every brick laid represents hope, love, and the commitment to ensuring that no one has to walk their final journey alone.

🌍 THIS WORLD ISN'T WORTH YOUR SOUL 🌍

In a world that constantly tells us to chase success, wealth, popularity, and pleasure, Jesus asks a sobering question:

"For what will it profit a man if he gains the whole world, and loses his own soul?"
Mark 8:36

Many people spend their lives pursuing things that will not last. Houses, cars, careers, possessions, and social status all have their place, but none of them can save a soul or bring eternal life.

One day, every earthly achievement will fade away, but your relationship with Jesus Christ will last forever.

The enemy wants us to become so focused on temporary things that we neglect eternal matters. Yet God's Word calls us to seek first His Kingdom and to treasure what has eternal value.

"Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moths and vermin destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven."
Matthew 6:19-20

Perhaps today God is calling you to pause and ask:

Where is my heart?
What am I living for?
Am I pursuing God's Kingdom above all else?

There is nothing in this world worth sacrificing your relationship with Christ.

⚔️ GUARD THE TRUTH OF THE GOSPEL ⚔️

The enemy cannot destroy the Gospel. The Word of God has stood firm through centuries of persecution, opposition, and attack.

"The grass withers, the flower fades, but the Word of our God stands forever." Isaiah 40:8

What Satan often tries to do is deceive people by distorting the truth. From the Garden of Eden until today, his strategy has remained the same: to question God's Word, twist Scripture, and lead people away from the truth.

This is why every believer must know the Bible for themselves, study it faithfully, and test every teaching against God's Word.

The Apostle Paul warned:

"For Satan himself masquerades as an angel of light."
2 Corinthians 11:14

Not everything that sounds spiritual is biblical. Not every popular message is God's message. As followers of Christ, we are called to be discerning, grounded in Scripture, and led by the Holy Spirit.

📖 The answer to deception is not fear, it is truth.

The answer to confusion is not opinion, it is God's Word.

The answer to darkness is the light of Jesus Christ.

"Your word is a lamp to my feet and a light to my path."
Psalm 119:105

⚔️ STAND FIRM IN YOUR FAITH ⚔️

In a world where opinions change daily and truth is often challenged, standing for Christ is not always easy. The moment you take a stand for biblical truth, some will disagree. Others may criticize, misunderstand, or even walk away.

But remember, our calling is not to seek the approval of people, it is to be faithful to God.

Jesus Himself warned us:

"If the world hates you, keep in mind that it hated Me first."
John 15:18

Standing for God does not mean being harsh or argumentative. It means living with conviction, speaking the truth in love, showing grace, and remaining faithful to God's Word even when it is unpopular.

The Apostle Paul reminds us:

"Am I now trying to win the approval of human beings, or of God? If I were still trying to please people, I would not be a servant of Christ."
Galatians 1:10

As Christians, we are called to be lights in the darkness, salt in the earth, and ambassadors for Christ. We do not stand alone. The Holy Spirit empowers us, God's Word guides us, and our church family encourages us.

🙏 If you are weary from the pressures of this world, come and be strengthened in God's presence this Sunday.
