The sole basis for our belief is the Bible. Both the Old and New Testaments are God-inspired and without error in their original form. The Bible is the final authority on all matters on which it bears. ut they defied God by sinfully going their own way. As a result, all mankind needs God's saving grace to end their alienation from Him. Salvation comes only through God's grace and must be received personally by every individual. Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, was born of a virgin, lived a sinless life on earth and voluntarily paid for our sin and eternal punishment by dying on the cross as our substitute. He rose from the dead and is the mediator between us and God. Someday He will return to earth to receive all Christians to Himself. Only believers will enjoy eternal fellowship with God. Jesus replied: "If anyone loves me, he will obey my teaching. My Father will love him, and we will come to him and make our home with him, he who does not love me will not obey my teaching." (John 14:23-24)
Listen to God's Word: "So faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of Christ." (Romans 10:17)
Believe in Jesus Christ: "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved." (Acts 17:30)
Repent of your sins: "In the past God overlooked such ignorance, but now He commands all people everywhere to repent." (Acts 17:30)
Confess Jesus as your Lord: "Everyone therefore who shall confess me before men, I will also confess him before my Father who is in heaven." (Matthew 10:32)
Baptism into Jesus: "Repent and be baptized, every one of you, in the name of Jesus Christ so that your sins may be forgiven. And you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit." (Acts 2:38)
Live for Jesus: "Therefore, my dear brothers, stand firm. Let nothing move you. Always give yourselves fully to the work of the Lord, because you know that your labor in the Lord is not in vain." (1 Corinthians 15:58)
