Beaufort — the beloved 1988 Pierce Lance firetruck — was purchased in 2021 in memory of Dave Turner a devoted community member whose wish was to continue a treasured Yulee tradition: bringing Santa through the neighborhood each Christmas. This cherished tradition began in 1958 with Yulee’s Volunteer Fire Department and has remained a meaningful part of the community for generations.
Recently, while participating in a memorial parade, Beaufort’s crew discovered the firetruck was experiencing serious engine trouble. It has since been determined that the engine must be replaced in order to keep Beaufort on the road and continue the traditions and community events that so many local families enjoy.

The good news is that a replacement engine has already been located, and several generous local mechanics have volunteered their time and expertise to install it.

All donations made will go directly into the Community Stewards of Yulee account and will be specifically designated for Beaufort’s new engine. With the community’s support, Beaufort can continue serving as a symbol of tradition, remembrance, and community spirit for years to come.

It's been quite a busy week for the Boy Scouts. First a walk in the Shrimp Fest Parade then a visit from Congressman Bean. Thanks Congressman Aaron Bean!
