In all seriousness service dogs provide many services and one of those service’s is as simple as getting you out of bed.

Loyalty, Love and Companionship is all they ask for in return!

Did you know:

Several small studies, including ones from Purdue and a VA-funded study, found that veterans with PTSD who have service dogs report lower PTSD symptoms, less depression, and better social functioning than those on waitlists or without dogs.

Did you know:

There is an organization right here locally in Nassau County that trains combat veterans and first responders to train their own service dogs?

Awareness isn’t enough at Building Battle Buddies we are focused on results.

What makes Building Battle Buddies different from similar organizations is we use an asymmetrical approach to help fill in the gaps.

As a small local grassroots non-profit we are proud that over 90% of all fundraising efforts go directly back to our grantees.

In only our second year, we have successfully helped 13 combat veterans/first responders.

If you want to have local impact and be part of a growing organization doing good things please reach out!!

We are so grateful for all the community support we have already received to help
those 13!

Get involved ❤️🐕🇺🇸
