Village Ministries International

Village Ministries International Target areas are villages and remote cities that ordinarily would not be exposed to missionary activity or Bible teaching.

Village Ministries International is dedicated to serving the forgotten people around the world, teaching them the Word of God and training them for ministry to reach others within their own countries. Village Ministries distributes Bibles to Christians in these remote areas. Along with each Bible given VMI strives to provide an Essentials: Bible Study Keys booklet, in the same language, to each re

cipient to enhance their study of Scripture. Training village pastors so they may go and teach others (2 Timothy 2:2).

Encouraging update from La Luz, Mexico!

It’s a true blessing to see God at work—both through a growing ministry and across generations, with my 85-year-old mother faithfully serving behind the scenes.

The church continues to grow, reaching people from multiple communities, with some even traveling by bicycle to attend. New opportunities have opened, including leading a fellowship in a nearby village and continuing outreach through teaching, discipleship, and everyday connections.

While the community faces real challenges—especially among young people—we’re praying that this small but faithful church will make a lasting impact for Christ.

What an unforgettable ministry journey to the Mangyan tribes in the Philippines!

These remote communities—each with their own language and traditions—live in isolation, yet have a deep hunger for God’s Word. Our team traveled long distances, hiked steep mountain paths, and even crossed rivers to reach them—and every step was worth it.

We were welcomed with open arms and had the privilege of teaching adults, women, teens, and children about the Gospel, prayer, and who God is. Even in challenging conditions, these communities showed incredible faith and eagerness to learn.

It was especially moving to see people not only receive food for their bodies, but also be nourished by the truth of Scripture—something they so deeply need.
Saying goodbye was difficult, and we’re praying for the opportunity to return. We’re so thankful for how God is working in these precious communities!

Women who attend are experiencing the power of God’s grace—mending deep wounds, learning to forgive, and discovering hope even in hardship and persecution.

for a three-day conference. The young people ranged in age from early teens to early twenties. Our goal was to ground them in the Gospel of Salvation and teach biblical truths so they would “grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (2 Peter 3:18).

What an incredible journey God has led us on!

Since 2017, the Lord has opened doors for ministry to women around the world—many of whom are facing hardship, persecution, and deep challenges. Through conferences, retreats, and teaching grounded in Scripture, we’ve seen how God’s grace brings clarity, comfort, and hope in every circumstance.

From Africa to Southeast Asia, and beyond, this ministry has continued to grow and be refined, meeting women right where they are with the truth of God’s Word.
We are so thankful for the opportunity to serve and walk alongside our sisters around the world!

I’m so thankful to each one who sponsored food for these children’s ministries. These children are from the slums. The children are so happy to come and attend the evening classes. We teach them how to write and read, along with teaching them from the Bible. We know the children will share what they have learned with their parents. At 78 I was totally worried about my age and weather. Kisba, one of the residents in this community, took the initiative to bring almost seventy women to the outreach event to receive a blanket. Kisba is very open to the Gospel and has said that she would like to come to church to “attend your singing and praising God.” She herself did not take a blanket because that would allow one more woman to come and hear about Jesus.
