This summer, let's make the Mahoning Valley a little brighter — together.
Whether it's stocking a food pantry, showing up to a community clean-up, or simply checking in on a neighbor, small acts of service add up to something powerful.
We've put together 5 meaningful ways to give back this summer — because the needs in our valley are real, and so is our capacity to meet them.
Which one will you try first?

What does interfaith unity mean to you?

For us, it means showing up for one another — across denominations, traditions, and backgrounds — because our shared humanity is greater than our differences. It means a mosque and a church serving side by side at a food pantry. A synagogue and a congregation joining hands for a community clean-up. It means faith in action.

What does it mean to you?

Halfway through the year, we pause to give thanks. Thanks for the congregations who show up, the volunteers who serve, and the neighbors who remind us why this work matters.

The Mahoning Valley Association of Churches exists because no one congregation can do it alone. Together, we are stronger, more compassionate, and more effective in meeting the needs of our community.

As we reflect on the months behind us and look ahead with hope, we invite you to journey with us. Learn more about who we are and how you can get involved at mvaconline.org.

Stronger together. Rooted in faith. Serving the Valley.
