Only 40 more days before book donation drop-off begins before the Spring Book Sale!

Start sorting through your bookshelves now--you can get them boxed up and ready to go, but...
PLEASE WAIT to drop them off until Monday, May 4th. We're so inundated with donations that we have no more storage space right now!

On Monday, May 4, Tuesday, May 5, and Wednesday, May 6, we'll have volunteers in the Red Brick Gym able to unload your donations from 10 AM - 3 PM and 6 PM - 8 PM each day.

Mark your calendars--it's only two months away!

The Friends of the Youngstown Free Library are holding their Annual Spring Book Sale at the beginning of May! There will be thousands of titles available and all of them will be sorted and organized.

Friday, May 8 from 9:30 AM - 6 PM
Saturday, May 9 from 9:30 AM - 3 PM

Thursday, May 7 from 5 PM - 8 PM
Members of the Friends ($10 to join!) get in early for first dibs at the thousands of offerings!

Do you have books to donate to the Friends of the Library?
Please drop off your donations to the Gym from May 4 - 6 from 10 AM - 3 PM or 6 PM - 8 PM.

Please note, we cannot accept textbooks, encyclopedias, VHS tapes, and any materials with mold issues.

🌶️Do you have a Special Chili Recipe?🌶️
Want to join the fun on 🏈Super Bowl Sunday at Bandana's?

👉Make a pot of your favorite chili (enough to fill½ catering pan).
👉Write the title of the recipe and a few highlights of the ingredients on a card.
👉Bring your chili to Bandana's between 12:00 - 12:45pm on February 8th, already heated. (Bandana's will pour it into a catering pan and set it up on the Tasting table. )

🥇🥈🥉There will be Bandana's Gift Certificates for the 3 chili recipes with the most votes!
If you don't want to cook, just come along and taste! 😋
