Yorktown Historical Society - NY The Yorktown Historical Society is an educational organization established to bring together those people interested in the history of Yorktown, New York.

This site is specifically related to all things historical with emphasis on the Town of Yorktown, its hamlets, surrounding towns and communities, Westchester and surrounding counties, and the Hudson Valley. Other historical pages or events deemed relevant by the YHS may also be shared. This is not a political page, but will welcome civil political commentary when related to historic preservation a

nd achieving those goals through civil discourse. Disparaging members, visitors, friends, or others is unwarranted and unwelcome. YHS reserves the right to delete posts and to ban Facebook users from access.
