Although Janet Toto has been a Mohegan Lake resident for 20 years, this may very well be the first time you’re seeing her art or hearing her name. I am pleased to announce you will have an opportunity to see her work and meet her in person tomorrow, Thursday November 10 at the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce grand opening of their new office/gathering space at the JV Mall. They’ve commissioned Art Around Town to fill their walls with an eclectic mix of local artists available for sale. But this is a teaser post because I’ve included no photo of Janet nor any photos of her three pieces included in the show. So if you want to get to know her better, stalk her social media accounts and then meet her at the grand opening prepared to purchase her latest work.

As you are sipping on your pumpkin latte and reaching for your plaid scarf, make sure to mark your calendar for the upcoming YORKTOWN FALL FESTIVAL & Car Show!
This year, has invited Art Around Town to participate by having some our local artist and craft people set up shop during their event. Our Makers Market will be held inside the main entrance of The Jefferson Valley Mall. Come shop and enjoy a jam packed day of family fun.
We have a few spots left so if you’re interested in being a vendor please reach out no later than Wednesday 9/28.

Art Around Town will be teaming up with the Yorktown Chamber of Commerce for the upcoming Yorktown Fall Fest on October 9th!
Art Around Town will be creating the first ever local Makers Market at the Fest featuring artisans and antique dealers from throughout our area. You can expect a mixture of fine arts, crafts, woodworking, pottery, jewelry and more!

Wow! What an incredible turnout we had this past weekend at ! Here are a few shots of what you missed if you were unable to make it.

We'd like to thank all of the artists who had their displayed at the event! And a special thank you to the owners of Peter Pratt's Inn for making this event possible.
