Over the weekend, this matter was brought to our attention, and we felt it was important for MPAC to speak out in support of our Yonkers neighbor, Mr. Samir Nofal, and his family.

Threats against anyone because of their heritage, identity, or lawful expression have no place in our community. We stand with Mr. Nofal and reaffirm our commitment to a community where everyone can live with dignity, express their heritage, and feel safe in their own home.

Nine years of turning love into smiles. It was such a blessing to see the smiles on so many faces today. I’m so proud of my sister and the beautiful work she continues to do through the Jonathan Maldonado Foundation in honor of Jonathan. I’m grateful to be able to support her, and thankful for all the amazing sponsors and community members who continue to believe in and support her mission.
