LAST CALL FOR FALL!

We're wrapping up our Fall term of classes here at RRCP, and though we may have a couple exciting events on the horizon, this is our last round of weekly classes until we're back in 2027!

We have our second rounds of Intro to Theatre and Technique & Scene Study coming up, both with RRCP lead instructor AND director of this year's production of Stroll Haunted Yarmouth, Tyler Costigan! These are our standard offerings for adult performers wishing to dive into theater and get some introductory experience, along with those who are experienced on the stage and want to strengthen their performance skills.

Find more information regarding both of these classes on our website under Fall Courses!

🍯We’re celebrating 100 years of the 100 Acre Wood! 🍯

Did you know the very first Winnie the Pooh book was published on October 14, 1926? A.A. Milne wrote it after watching his son, Christopher Robin, play with his stuffed bear, inspiring a story that would charm the world for a century. Ernest H. Shepard’s illustrations brought the 100 Acre Wood to life, creating characters that have delighted generations.

Now, 100 years later, we’re celebrating the 100 Acre Wood with a joyful, imagination‑filled production overflowing with wonder, nostalgia, and honey‑sweet joy. Bring the whole family this March and share in the adventure!

We are in search of a sound designer and operator for a unified cabaret at Gorham Middle School. Responsibilities would include running lapel and overhead microphones, accompaniment tracks, and connecting our keyboard to the sound system.

We would need them on the following days and times:
Sunday, November 1st 12pm-7pm
Monday, Nov 2nd 6-8:30pm
Tuesday, Nov 3rd 6-8:30pm
Thursday, Nov 5th 6-8:30pm
Friday, Nov 6th 6-8:30pm
Saturday, Nov 7th 12-6pm

We can be flexible within reason, and this person would earn a stipend. Please email [email protected] if interested.

From Seize the Day Cabaret Director, David Sheehy:

“As we continue creating accessible stage productions, we keep discovering just how much our community needs them. We came up with this idea hoping to empower theaters statewide to offer more inclusive theater. Our 42 performers come from all over southern Maine, and they are wildly talented! It’s been such a joy working with them on music from some of their favorite shows — from Newsies to Chicago to Godspell. There truly is something in this for everyone!”
– David Sheehy, Director of Accessible Stages Collaborative
