Her Story, Inc. Recovery Beginnings dramatically accelerates the rate of women receiving treatment for their drug and/or alcohol addiction.

Her Story bridges the gap in services for women, their families, and our community in recovery and substance use treatment through a holistic, faith & evidence-based approach to recovery. Our Programs:

Recovery Beginnings bridges the gap between homelessness and inpatient treatment services by using the best evidence based-practice on quality care, trauma-informed assessments & holistic services.

By providing 24/7 supervision, case management, detox assistance, a warm bed, meeting their basic needs and more. Recovery Beginnings is not a treatment center, but a first step towards long-term recovery. Recovery Living is a 12 month program that offers women who have completed inpatient treatment the next step in their recovery journey by providing a substance free living environment, peer support, accountability, and assistance in developing life skills to establish independent, substance free lifestyles. Recovery Connections is an outreach program with the mission to redeem the stories of family and friends who have loved ones lost in addiction, finding healing in relationships and renewal of the mind, body, and spirit. This program was created to support the network for our clients, their loved ones, and the communities in the Miami Valley. Our program offers group meetings for families, personalized drop-in sessions, and educational workshops for everyone in the community to support mental health and wellness.
