IT’S COMING UP!! Worcester Earn-A-Bike’s Annual Kids Bike Sale ☀️🚲☀️

❣️$5 per bike, 1 bike per child (& the child must be present!) ❣️

Our sale will be happening on June 13th, from 11 am - 1 pm! We are excited to give some bikes a new and loving home.

Did you know the Worcester Public Library and the Worcester Talking Book Library have a “Dial-A-Story” program? This recorded service offers stories, poems, and more by phone. The Worcester Poet Laureate and Worcester Youth Poet Laureate recently recorded a special feature for the program. Be sure to call in by dialing 508-552-3456 and listen to their poems! 📞

Back by popular demand is another session of our 4-H Babysitter Training program!

Are you a teen looking for work? Ages 12-18 are invited to Roosevelt Branch Library (1006 Grafton St) for a babysitter training workshop series! Over the course of four interactive, hands-on sessions, learn about entertainment, safety, childhood development, the business of babysitting, and much more! Participants will take home a babysitting manual and a first-aid kit.

Sessions will take place daily from 3:30-5 pm May 12-15. **You must register for and attend all four sessions to receive a certificate of participation and a babysitter's ID.** Head to mywpl.org to sign up.

Check out Worcester Public Library and all they have to offer!

Mandy Roberge from Wicked Good Henna will be hanging out at our Great Brook Valley branch this Thursday, (April 30) from 3-5pm ready to provide some history on henna and to create henna designs just for you!

Open to ages 3-18. No registration required, but space is limited so come early to guarantee a spot. If there is time, you may even be able to get more than one design!

This program is sponsored by the Worcester Public Library Foundation.
